Stimulo participated as a speaker at last Spanish-China Trade Forum held in Foshan. The purpose of our presentation was focused on the design and branding to build a new business model base on value and differentiation.

The ceramic industry is very important by both, Chinese and Spanish companies, which allowed an interesting discussion later on related to  a new design sensibility.

The lecture and forum will have different topics, including interior design trend, how architect choose ceramic and bathroom, ceramic and bathroom marketing, and cooperation between Chinese and Spanish ceramic and bathroom enterprises under EU ceramic anti dumping.

The 3-day conference were organized by CCC and CCIH and Spanish Chamber of Commerce in China.

During an intensive day at the Fair in Hong Kong we had the opportunity to share experiences with the Catalan Lighting Cluster.

Hong Kong is a meeting place to see new technologies, networking with manufacturers and evaluate new trends. A few manufacturers start using solar energy power as a clean energy source for the next outdoor street light generation. In terms of design opens up new challenges.

Some CICAT associate members are FARO, SACOPA, BJB, SAGITARIO, MDC and TROLL.

These days we have been supporting AD lighting in the presentation of the new collection of lighting fixtures with LED technology for outdoor use.

In the main pavilion we also shared different experiences with FARO. They has presented various developments, especially in the segment of the outdoor light. His stand is already a reference at the fair.

STIMULO has presented its business model to a group of Chinese businessmen interested in design as a tool to improve the competitiveness of its products, within the framework of the 110th Canton Fair.

The presentation of the business exchange session was made by Mr.. Xie, representing the PDC, Center for the promotion of design.

Stimulo is attending the Canton Fair again, with the aim of bringing design and creativity from Barcelona to Chinese companies. Stimulo has been operating in China for the last 8 years, and recently opened a small representative office to meet the demands of local companies, increasingly interested in European design.

Better Design Better Business
Under this slogan, which links design directly with business performance, stimulo wants to communicate the basic advantatge of using design: increase your competitiveness. As in the previous edition, Stimulo will participate in the forum events and networking activities in order to maximise its promotion.

Stimulo will be a member of the workshop INNOVATION CHALLENGES; INNOVATIVE, CREATIVE COMPANIES & ECOINNOVATIVE ORGANIZATIONS.The next day will be held June 29 at the Casa Lonja de Mar the day on THE CHALLENGE OF INNOVATION. This event is promoted by LEITAT and Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona. STIMULO will talk about Strategical Creativity during the product development.

Innovation is one of the most important challenges to be faced by businesses today. Innovation is to create or find new ideas into market value.
What mechanisms lead to innovation? How do they work in SMEs? What trends are following firms to innovate in a more responsible eco-innovation?
These are some questions that will answer them during the day.
The event is included within the REDIN project, which aims to establish a channel to facilitate innovation, technology transfer and best practices between firms or organizations in different sectors and contexts of action.

We will share experiences with Abel Paulet (INDUSTRIAL SAGARA), Silvia Burés (BURES INNOVA) and Xavier Olivares (APLI).

During the 16th edition of the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition being held from 9 to 12 June, AD LIGHTING, a professional architectural lighting products manufacturer, presents the new LED technology collections designed by Stimulo.

ADLIGHTING has over 20 years experience in developing and manufacturing professional equipment, focusing on the architectural lighting and providing a product total solution.

AD products have been widely used in the Landmark buildings of Beijing Olympic Games, Shanghai Expo, Guangzhou Asian Games and other well-known projects worldwide, and earned high reputation for its design, reliability and price competitiveness.

The Guangzhou Trade Fair is organized by Messe Frankfurt.

On Sunday April 24, Stimulo presented the process of design as innovation driver to add value to Chinese companies and brands.

There’s a lot of that going on in China these days. As Chinese companies seek to build global brands and foreigners aim to boost sales in the mainland, they’re transforming the country’s design business. Chinese manufacturers realize they need better products if they want to break out of China and beef up their margins on sales abroad. And foreign companies are starting to see that as Chinese consumers get more discriminating, they’re no longer content with the tired, designed-somewhere-else models that many overseas-based marketers once sold in China. This is powering a boom in design on the mainland, so can be China the factory of ideas?

The challenge is great and the multiple questions but the first steps are already done and it seems the it’s right time for all those creative and innovative professionals to take part.Our experience, over 8 years developing projects in different sectors, it becomes a key factor for any company interested to introduce in such competitive market as the Chinese.

During his esplanation Mr. Ramon Martinez, director of strategy Stimulo, use a language close to the Chinese business culture; design means business. This business, however, is not only money talking and it has started to talk about feelings, quality of life and environment.

Other issues of discussion have been:

_increase the perceived value of products
_communicate the best differential values ​​of companies and position them as innovative companies
_adding distinctive attributes that make the products more desirable to users, easy to sell
_improve the ergonomics of the products, more comfortable, efficient and safe
_optimize productive resources to minimize production costs, increasing margins.
